CONCH-er the day!! This summer has been incredible. As some of you may have seen on my stories yesterday, I just passed a five-week accelerated class to become an EMT. Once I sit for my state test, I will officially be a first responder! 🚑🩺☺️ I am so incredibly thrilled to finally be heading down a path that is meaningful to me. A little over five years ago, I started getting sick. I had to quit my job at Travelers because my boss refused to make accommodations for me and let me work from home. (Isn’t that so crazy to think about with the WFH culture we have now?) However, it was a blessing in disguise to be all but forced out of my job. It was a blessing in disguise to go undiagnosed for years, so that I could see firsthand how desperately our country needs empathetic, invested healthcare providers. I can’t wait to start serving others in my community, and making a difference in peoples’ lives. This means I’ll have less time for my blog, but I’ll still be posting updates everyone now and then ☺️ Coming up soon is guide on how to make delicious cheese boards like this. Stay tuned!!
